MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
The Saltaire Volunteer Fire Company offers a number of types of membership. We are looking for members to contribute in all aspects of the company. Membership is open to persons who either work in Saltaire, or are homeowners or family of homeowners in Saltaire or adjacent fire protection districts. The three types of membership are briefly explored below.
Firefighter: Able bodied Male of Females candidates of at least 18 years of age and no more than 55 years of age at completion of all requirements, to train and provide fire suppression services to the community.
Fire-Medic: Those only interested in providing Emergency Medical Care to Saltaire and surrounding communities as an EMT or of higher qualification.
Auxillary: For those that would like to contribute to the efforts of the Fire Company in numerous administrative capacities. There are no age or health limitations for auxillary members.
The Membership Application will be available on-line shortly. Please feel free to stop by the Firehouse to pick up an application.
