The SVFC received delivery this summer of a new EMS vehicle (3-18-80).  It is designed for EMS first response and is also capable of moving patients from challenging locations to an awaiting ambulance, Suffolk County PD medevac, or for marine transport.  The 2013 Polaris Ranger 6x6 was custom designed by members of the company and was fabricated by two vendors to fulfill the unique needs of the fire company and it's EMS district.

3-18-80 is a New York State Department of Health certified first responder apparatus and is fully equipped with ems equipment, a full wheeled stretcher, an AED, a Lifepak 12 and can transport up to five responders and a patient.
