SVFC Holiday Party
The SVFC Annual Holiday Party will take place on Saturday, December 10th at 12pm! Holiday food and fun will abound --- Santa Claus will make an appearance.

Annual Parade - Saturday July 23rd
We invite you to join us for the annual Saltaire Volunteer Fire Company Parade!
As is tradition, we welcome our youth to decorate their bicycles and follow the parade route.
The route this year will start at the Firehouse go up Broadway to Bay Prom, over to Atlantic, down to Lighthouse and back up Broadway to the Firehouse.
Following the parade, refreshments and hot dogs will be provided!
T-Shirts will also be available for purchase and we welcome anyone with an interest in joining to introduce themselves and pick up an application.

Training Burn @ Fire Academy with OBFD
As part of ongoing training, the Fire Company goes to the Suffolk County Fire Academy (SCFA) for live fire training.
In our most recent training exercise, the SVFC and the Ocean Beach Fire Department (OBFD) trained together on the "Class A" burn tower at the SCFA in Yaphank.

2011 Greeting from the Chief
Welcome to our new website. We are very proud of our Saltaire Volunteer Fire Company family. The safety of our citizens is the basis for everything we do.
Because of your continued support, The Fire Company has been able to acquire updated equipment so that we may perform our rescue functions more safely and efficiently.
When responding to emergencies we have improved our efficiency through extensive drilling and education. Our new radio system will enable fire fighters to communicate with one another and to neighboring communities more clearly. On the medical side, the Fire Company continues to add advanced equipment to improve the effectiveness of our responders.
